Le Sorelle is a project of siblings Kim and Tennille Chalmers; the name itself means the sisters in Italian. The Chalmers girls grew up surrounded by vines and after pursuing their own independent careers for ten years – Kim in music and Tennille in hospitality – they have both succumbed to the inherent passion for viticulture and vino and joined the family business of growing grapes and making wine.

Description

Le Sorelle is a project of siblings Kim and Tennille Chalmers. Le Sorelle Fiano is a new wine to the range and was driven by the Chalmers Girls sheer love for this great variety. Fiano always performs so well year in, year out in our vineyards and this wine proves its success in the hot dry climate of the Mildura region.

This small batch wine is made with hand-picked grapes from our Murray Darling vineyard. Whole bunched pressed and naturally fermented on solids until dry. This wine then saw some time in old oak and the resulting wine is a rounded, medium weight Fiano that shows attractive fresh pine and almond meal. The 2022 vintage resulted in a wine that is ready and delicious straight out of the bottle, perfect with BBQ Piri Piri Chicken or Ricotta and Spinach Gnocchi with Gorgonzola.
